Hey folks, for those of you that read the “Can’t See the Forest for the Trees?” post please note that I typo’d SWOT and typed SWAT. Must’ve been the military talk. Clink on the link if you’re not sure what a SWOT Analysis is and Wikipedia will help you out.

  14. Steve Averill on March 4th, 2009 2:36 pm

Great insight. It’s tough enough to make it as a franchisee without shenanigans like that going on.

  38. Sart on May 22nd, 2009 9:15 am

I have just tested the three systems.

In my view Creationflow is inferior to both ProofHQ and Conceptshare from a usability perspective. Conceptshare has a nice GUI for designers, but ProofHQ is much better for getting clients to understand how to review a design.

Also, I tested a high quality PDF brochure (22MB). ProofHQ was the only one of the three that displayed the proof to a high standard and loaded quickly. Creationflow was really shocking at a high zoom. Conceptshare wasn’t much better.

Conceptshare does screenshot capture and I had to upload a screenshot to the other two.

I am an animation student at Cal State Fullerton and I am taking a course about professional practices in art. As one of my assignments I need to interview a successful professional in my field and I chose Mr. Joaquim Dos Santos. If there is any way you can help me contact him I would really appreciate it. I have a letter from my instructor Dana Lamb if you need it. Thank you.

  54. Justin Moore-Brown on November 2nd, 2009 6:02 pm

The coffee was delicious, but more importantly, the environment and the ambiance was fantastic. Warm and inviting, the feel of the place reminded me of what Starbucks used to be. A place to get coffee and take a break from the hustle and bustle of life.

Hi, we have one called Apollo! :)

It is free and lightweight, and tries to get out of your way rather than provide every feature you might want.

We are looking for feedback on what designers might want before we implement the next wave of features.

If you are interested in giving it a go, sign up at http://www.useapollo.com and let us know what you think!

I have used almost every proofing application on the web be it Proofhq, Conceptshare or ProofHub.Proofhq is easy to use but sharing becomes difficult if u are not using Basecamp.

Personally for quick and easy reviews i find ProofHub the best. Give it a try.
    Here it is: http://www.proofhub.com/mini

    Hey Rayanne,

    Thanks for the comment!

Freshbooks has helped make invoicing for us a snap! The ability for clients to log-in and view their account status on their own, saves us the hastle of pesky reminder emails and account status updates. In turn this allows us to focus on what we do best!

Thanks to you and the Freshbooks team for providing such a great product! And thank you for stopping by!

A few of my peeps have asked what iPadio is. Here is a response to one of the questions.

“iPadio is a phone blogging tool or a podcasting tool depending on how you use it. I don't often have time to sit behind the computer but I'm on the phone constantly. iPadio enables me to publish content to http://www.mobomediainc.com on a consistent basis with the press of a couple buttons on my Droid.”
