Mobo Media was excited to attend the ribbon cutting of Tranquil Tea Lounge in Fullerton today.

Owned by the brother/sister duo of Jonathan Munsayac and Michellee Phelps, they have brought a fresh new place to the downtown fullerton area. With over 85 kinds of tea, a simple selection of sandwiches, paninis, and sweets, TTL is a tea lovers dream and tea novices perfect place to develop your palette.

The Great Wall of Tea

The Great Wall of Tea

The decor is simple, modern, and elegant which really enhances the “lounge” feel. The layout is open highlighted by the giant wall of product and teas that you can smell (smell the cool watermelon or the chocolate macadamian!) as well as a quaint conference room that is seperated by a nice frosted glass door.

The food is great and simple, just like the teas. There’s no point in ordering anything but the Tranquil Tea Trio: your choice of sandwich, mixed or ceasar salad, and any one of the 85 teas served iced or hot) for $8. That’s a great value and it’s the freakin’ bomb-diggity.

The rest I’ll leave up to you to decide, but one thing I can tell you for sure is that I will be a repeat customer of Tranquil Tea lounge.
