Kogi BBQ, a restaurant in Culver City, has become a veritable cult phenomenon by taking their food to the streets. But the beauty of the story, is the small restaurant that has blown-up overnight because they have embraced social media, namely Twitter. They have leveraged the number of people in the communities by taking their delicious and unique Korean/Mexican fusion food to the streets, and sending their fans on what equates to a wild goose hunt. They tweet out the locations they are going to, usually random industrial areas in the evening, and the word of mouth epidemic takes it from there. Malcolm Gladwell would say that the information got to the right Mavens, Connectors, and Salesmen, and the quality of their product did the rest.

Don’t take my word for it, follow them on Twitter, find out their next location, and head on out. Just make sure you get there early!
