OCjobtalk.com: A Social Community Experiment.

OCjobtalk.com, an Orange County hyperlocal, job community created with Steve Averill of OCbizblog.com has celebrated it’s 100th member today! (as of this post it’s actually at 112). This is a great success for us and the site as it has continually grown each day and more and more activity is taking place on the site. In celebration of this milestone, we’ve decided to give away an iPod shuffle to one random member (1-106).

OCjobtalk.com is here to provide a community for people not simply to look at a giant stream of job postings (although there is a continuous supply of them), but to network and make the connections that could lead them to that job and help them feel confident when applying. It’s also a place to support, encourage, and inspire each other as we all share that common bond of being in the Orange County job market.
