I’m sure many of you have already seen this ad but it’s a good one that’s sure to put a smile on your face on this dreary post-holiday Tuesday. You can check out the clip here and be sure to read the brief review by Mark Dolliver on Adweek. Some good notes there about divesting yourself from the norm especially when running ads, “spots”, designs, etc. for clients in the financial industry. Also a good point about mimicking a news clip. We just posted a great little interview on our subsidiary’s site, The Flashbulb Group, about Joseph Columbo known to the blogging world as The Actual Joey Himself (@theactualjoeyin the Twitterverse).

An Orange County photographer based in Whittier (bordering OC) who, on his blog/portfolio site describes himself as a “World Travelin, Soul Photographin . . . visual artist who specializes in a meaningful photo journalistic approach to my photography.”

Click through for the interview and more photos or visit his website www.theactualjoeyhimself.blogspot.com to discover his work for yourself!

For those of you looking for some photos of the brothers Mobo Media or photos of other famous people (ehem!), check out the latest post. BB photos from Twitpic so bear with us. I’ve heard some mixed reviews on the Twestival LA event: not fun, random crowd, awesome. It may have been a bit random but I know Justin (@bigheadasian) and I (Jason aka @mobomedia) had a great time. Besides, charitywater.org raised almost $12,000 which is nothing to sneeze at.

For those of you who didn’t have a chance to go to the Twestival LA on Thursday @ club 740 you definetly missed out on a good time!

Benefitting Charity:Water with 100% of the proceeds from ticket and shirt sales going to the charity this was a great event.

Hundreds of “Tweeps” (twitter + peeps) showed up to attend the event headlined by both web and tv celebs (Joe Rogan, iJustin, Tay Zonday, David H. Lawrence XVII, Nick Thune, & more) to support this cause.

The night was filled with some great music spun by 4 DJ’s and the house band Me & Heath (check ‘em out) & a great feeling of goodwill. Plus it was nice to put a face to some of the “@” names on Twitter!

With an estimated 400+ people in attendance and almost 12K raised this was a definite success for an event put together in 2 weeks! Check out the highlight reel to see a little of what you missed. Here’s lookin’ to Twestival 2010!
